I am assuming that you can move those files back to the regular location. example the user files and then delete the old folder, that is if you want to. ?

Hey bro, so I'm at the step of choosing a partition, and it says "windows could not format a partition on disk 0. The error occurred while preparing the computer's system volume. Error code: 0x80070057". Any ideas?

Hello! I am stuck in a loop, so I cannot acces Windows. I want to install a new windows, but I want to keep my files. In your video I've seen that only the C: files (Windows.old) were saved. But what about the D: files. These are what I care about. If I install the new windows on my D: partition, the Windows.old will have my D: files? Also, I have seen that your Windows.old folder is empty...

I did what the tutorial explains. After choosing the allocation and starting the installation of windows a blu screen comes and an error : Critcal process died. After that the pc is not starting autonomously but needs the USB and when I'm trying the installation don't find any disk to put windows. I don't know what to do I'm very sad about it.

Question: I have a windows 10 desktop, and when I put the USB in and boot it up, it tells me "It looks like you started an upgrade and booted from installation media. If you want to continue with the upgrade, remove the media from your PC and click Yes. If you want to perform a clean installation instead, click No." Problem is, when I remove it and click "Yes," it just reboots and nothing gets changed. It leads me to a blue screen saying "Your PC/Device needs to be repaired," followed by saying the error code is 0xc0000225. What can I do then? :( I can't afford to lose my files, so I don't know what to do. If I keep the USB in and press No, will the installation clear my files and lose everything? I'm so lost...

Hello! I did this method and saved my files. But just moments later I tried to install drivers and it loops again so I need to reinstall Windows again. Will it still save the Windowsold folder? Like when I open the Windowsold folder on my reinstalled windows, will it still contain the previous Windowsold folder? Because I wasn't able to transfer my files. I installed my drivers just within an hour after I reinstalled
