They need to make this a default option for resetting your computer. I was going to reinstall windows since I just swapped my motherboard + cpu in order to get a clean slate of windows to negate any sort of lingering interactions with the previous hardware. This is gonna save me all the hassle of redownloading everything. *Thank. YOU.*

Sorry but i really need your help, so over the time when i download and install apps some of their files stay on the C drive which by time made it full and made loading process of some apps and games slow, so does this video solve this sort of problem? And is there any way of just formatting the C drive (the one that has the windows)only while keeping the D drive?

feb 2024, can confirm this still works and WOW i can't thank you enough! ...i had a Settings error in which i could not access Privacy settings, tried a million things but could not fix the issue, so finally tried this reset process and the problem is completely resolved!!! ...and Nothing is screwed up in the process! as in my Windows is still activated, my Office 2016 is still present and product key is fine, all my apps/settings/files/games etc etc all fine!

I am still on the fence, I want to, but I also dread the fact something might get wrong while it's still working 7/10 for me now, except some faulty windows settings but can't remember which 3rd party software included those settings for me to change. My windows 10 computer crashed and it would not allow me to use any of my hard disks. I was forced to delete the drives and reformat them. I did however do an Image backup that took 6 DVD's and now I have 6 DVD's that I cannot figure out how to use. It just says something like "this is not the media windows is looking for"

so everything was going well i got to the blue screen install thing and logged back into my pc after it finished, but it says we couldn’t install windows 10. the installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during APPLY_IMAGE operation. if you know what to do please help 🙏

@@mmvi8927 The problem can occur due to bad RAM or graphics card incompatibility. If you have multiple RAM sticks, i suggest getting one out and trying to install windows, if problem occurs again, try same thing with other RAM sticks. If that didnt work i suggest disabling your graphics card in BIOS and then connecting your monitor with onboard graphics on the back of your computer.

@@mmvi8927 I can guess that you are using USB that has installed windows on it. Error code that you specified means that your system file is corrupted in most cases. Try reinstalling windows on USB and make sure you use stable internet connection to install windows.

I have a windows 10 asus it sat for 6 moths and work great before I stop using it now I'm trying to use it and it keeps going to black screen that says Asus screen" in search of incredible" in lower part it says press delete or f2 to enter you UEFI bio settings then it flashes and it turns completely off again then it shows the spinning circle and the whole computer Powers on within two to three seconds it powers back on and it repeats the process over and over and over and over and over again I've done everything all of you guys have said and nothing seems to work it's never gotten wet it sat covered but can't get it to seem to work at all.

If you download win 10 to make a bootable USB install, you will NOT get the RESET my PC option and the upgrade option will not run outside of running windows. So no good for a PC stuck in repar loop
