Monroe Thompson any update on this? are you able to do it? i have a ‘19 lx and all i need is apple car play display and i’m 1000% satisfied with my LX. i found a few places to buy it, but don’t want to do it if it doesn’t work

@@jaspermorant2352 haven't tried it, just found place to buy like you... Also waiting on a firm confirmation that it works. I'm hoping we can just swap in the 8 in center display unit and not all the other crap

@@M8NR8E So I got the new Touring stereo for my lx there’s one plug that doesn’t fit but I’m going to get at plug at t tap it and it should work because I texted it and it’s only ground let’s see what happens

Thanks for the video. Will the AX-DSP-HON2 harness work on this head unit? I bought one for my install, and I also picked up a LC7i for the LOC.

To get to the car center Speaker behind the radio is that how you get to where you have to actually take off the whole radio to get to the center speaker

I see that you have the base model stereo there , could you install the higher model touch screen that comes on the loaded accords ? Or would it not be compatible ?

It’s very complicated because you need to change all the components of the radio

if you would be kind enough to help me solve a problem. I have the same car and radio, but my bluetooth pairing spaces are full, so it won't let me connect my new cell phone. Do you know how I can delete all paired cell phones? to let me match mine, i have been trying for about 1 week and there is no way i can

Have you tried to go in the phone setting of the car and go into connecting portion of the setting and see if you can delete some of the phone’s that are in there

@@moeahmad47 Yes, I already tried that, but I don't get any option to delete. I also saw a tutorial where the call button was pressed, and a pop-up menu appeared where a list of options to configure phones was opened, in that menu it allows you to delete them but that menu does not appear on my radio. Today I tried to disconnect the battery but it was of no use, the old cell phones are still stored in memory, thank you very much for your support, if you can think of something else, I would appreciate a lot if you could tell me

Where is the factory amp located? My driver door and passenger rear deck speakers arnt working and I'm thinking it's the factory amp.

Have you tried to check to see if there blown? If you can get to the speaker in the door take it out and put a test speaker if you have one.

420 Gaming did you install an amp that can run the center channel also? Like just a swap for an upgrade amp to run better speakers?

It was a upgrade to the car. That car had no center channel. We upgraded the speakers too

Great Video ! Do you know what/if the connections are between the factory Stereo H/U and the Garmin-based Nav system ? Essentially, I want to do 2 things. 1) disconnect the Nav speaker (the one that sits behind the display) 2) disconnect the interrupt from the Nav system to the Stereo unit, which lowers the stereo volume when the Nav commands output.
