@@bobbelsekwol My neighbor messed up his hand bad running it one handed, it jammed up an ripped the shit out of his fingers and palm. My sons 20 yr old friend just jammed one up, disc shattered, gouged out a 3”x 1/4” deep strip across the back of his hand, (you can see tendons!) and the big chunks of the shattered disc were stuck in there. Wear a face shield for sure!!

@@bobbelsekwol that’s actually 10, 11 or 12,000 RPM depending on what brand 4 1/2” grinder you have. 6 to 6500 for the 9” grinders. The 7” are around 8000 rpm.

If you don't keep your address upto date (where you mainly live) police will take your car off you when you get pulled and you haven't responded and paid fines sent to you (and you get a £1000 fine on top of that)

I once got clamped even thou my vehicle was legally taxed. It was a mistake on their behalf. I couldn't go to work the next day and lost a days pay. He may have taxed his car and the error is with the dvla.

Actually most parking boots are put on by 3rd party city contractors who are not legally allowed to record information of the vehicle if placing a parking boot. There for they must witness you doing it and have the police respond before you get it off and drive away. I have cut 2 off of my truck and have never paid a boot fee ever

It's only criminal damage if you did it! Who is to say it wasn't stolen? Back when companies were allowed to clamp people for money, the parking lot where my friend had his garage would be littered with clamped cars. Then a white van with a couple of piekeys would come along, cut all the clamps off, load them into their van (apparently they had dozens) and sell them for scrap or whatever they did with them. My mate used to warn the clampers, that if they clamp a car around here they would lose it. But they didn't listen. Piekeys might be a nuisance sometimes, but these actually did a service. They took clamps, blown engines, damaged body panels, old appliances.
