Ross, you can’t read my old fruit cake. They are D3S not DS3! I just swore blind to a guy in the local parts department that they are DS3, you own me a drink and need to edit you video. Apart from that you helped me fit them.

I changed the blub effortlessly thanks to this video by @RossPerryProductions . My Tip would be to buy 2 bulbs and replace the drivers and passengers bulbs at the same time even if one is not gone because i've ended up with one brighter than the other, perhaps a different brand etc and the older one maybe not as bright over time.

Hi there, thanks for watching and your comment, good tip, I guess it would be determined by the budget as they are not cheap bulbs. They actually come in different colour temperatures or 'K' rating, that could be the difference or like you say some discoloration over time.

Great video, thank you. One point I would make is to really do your best to get all the old glass shards from the broken bulb out of the headlight unit before installing the new bulb. On my car some remaining shards interfered with the operation of the high beam shutter (high beam isn't an extra filament or bulb on these units, it's a physical shutter that moves up and out of the way to allow a higher spread of beam). I was driving around with high beam stuck on. I had to remove the headlight unit again, and the bulb, and shake and tap the headlight until all the glass pieces came out.

Hello. I have a question, do your lamps have a led disc, the one with 7 diodes. I'm asking because I saw in your video that the xenon bulb and optical fibers shone, but this disc with 7 diodes did not shine.

Hi there Wojciech, the 7 Diodes come on when the engine is running. In the video I only had the ignition on without the engine on. Thanks for watching.

Thanks! Very informative and useful. Do you happen to have a video for troubleshooting the windshield washer fluid system? Mine stopped working after I refilled the tank. I can hear the pump for the windshield dispenser come on, but no fluid comes out of the ports on the bonnet. I know that the tank is full and I am not having this problem on the rear window. All the best!

Hi Eric, thanks for your comment and watching, unfortunately I don't have a video of that but it does sound like there are a few possible options to help you out. First I would disconnect one of the pipes and see if water comes out when operated (seeing if the nozzles are blocked), next I would put some pressure through the pipe (using a pump to push or pull a potential blockage). Failing that disconnect the hose on the tank and see if the pump sprays the water out via pressure, or if water just leaks out. Lastly take the pump out of the tank and bench test it. If you can here it working when operated you know the electrics are all good. I would say best case its just a blockage, worst case you need a new pump.
