This video is for the twin H7 bulb with separate dip and main beams. Later vehicles had the single bulb projector type headlights, or xenon high intensity discharge (HID) lamps.

As he mentions, on later models a different bulb is used - on my 2013 it's an HB3 (60W bulb that incorporates a right-angle plastic shroud around the terminal pins).

My LED mains did need an adapter. Purchased on ebay for a few quid.

Look at the front glass on the headlight to see which bulb to fit. Some use H7, some don't.

Yeh, not the easiest lights to remove. If you fit quick release thumb wheels instead of bolts, plus my stronger release rods then the lights come out in seconds.

Kinda silly to remove entire headlight when you can access bulb from behind, just remove rubber cap, replace bulb, done.

Not enough room to do that. You can do that for sidelight bulb on nearside, but all over bulbs require headlight removal. It is only two 10mm bolts.
