In this video we will walk through the removal of a LUTRON claro screw-free wallplate that is installed over LUTRON Caseta and Maestro switches.

Thank you for the informative video. I just installed a screw-free wall plate. Looks nice but now I need to adjust the plate behind it. Removing the cover plate is a pain.

You're welcome and surprising yes. I have yet to break a single tab and I've had to pull many of them off and snap them back on a handful of times when changing switches, receptacles, and painting. They appear to be flexible enough, at least when they are newer, where the tabs are forgiving.

That was indeed hard to watch. The single one is a bitch and that's 4. Worse than seperating a keyfob to change battery. Thx for vid. Most normal ppl are gonna not know or be apprehensive. Directions don't even say shit.

All my wall plates are less then a year old. However, I have removed some of them 3 to 5 times for various reasons. To date, none of them snapped a tab or cracked.

I flush mounted my plate, do NOT like the double stacked plate look. BTW if you pull the plate off like shown in video you stand good chance of breaking the plate or pulling a screw out. Make sure you turn OFF breaker to switch before removing.
