Wife's GLC300 has a door hinge which has that popping noise whilst you open and close the door. It's similar to the sound right as you attached the new door. I'm guessing I just need to disconnect those two bolts that hold the hinge on so I can gain access to the pins to clean and lube them? The upper bolt/hinge is a 10mm; the lower bolt is a 7mm on her car. One suggestion with all of this: If you have the illuminated door handles, those LED lights fail every 3-8 years (the original design was horrible). The light CANNOT be replaced from the outside of the car! It requires the door handle and door card to be completely removed, then the interior plastic door handle is loosened and manipulated enough to gain access to the LED light. In fact, Mercedes has replaced so many under the original factory warranty that someone has said they've now redesigned the door handles WITHOUT the LED lights! So, what I would suggest doing is replacing those LEDs whenever you have the door card off. There is one particular guy in Europe who shows how to replace this light, which requires the door handle and door card off, then getting interior door panel free to be able to reach in and replace the light. But seeing that you took the entire interior door panel off and had super easy access, I wanted to reach through the screen and replace that LED light for you! In the US, that LED light is between $28 and $42. However, to have a Mercedes-Benz dealer replace the light is about $700 because it's billed out as a 2-3 hour job (and has risks involved in breaking things). I've now replaced 1 LED under warranty, and the other 3 lights I've recently done myself (saving about $2100). One thing to keep in mind is that when they redesigned the LED lights (not sure of the year, but guessing around 2018 or 2019) they are a different color. They are more white, whereas the original ones had a slightly purplish hue to them that you don't notice until you put the newly designed ones in.

I understand that you swapped all the original wiring and electronics into the replacement door. My question is, how were you able to get the window in the replacement door to roll down to the service position? Did you have to make an initial connection of all the electrical components, and then would the window operate when you did?

Helllo, at 15:00there is thst poping noise when closing opening the new door. I have this issue on my eclass 2017. Is there anyway to fix the noisr with out taking apart the door card etc?
