I have not tried that exact model, but an older HP Elitebook worked just fine

Hi - for an HP G1, you will need to re-code the BIOS chip unfortunately

@@mihaitalica4827 Unfortunately, you will need to de-solder the BIOS IC and connect it to an EPROM programmer, so not straight forward unfortunately

Hi Robert - As it is a G2 unfortunately I do not think it will as the bios need recoding on that model I think
