so i took it upon myself to swap my trans in my 95' 318i . . . unfortunately my 2nd and 3rd gear gave out so i bought a used one and i dont think i would be able to even attempt it without this video...i have searched and searched on youtube on how to diy but this video by far has been the best one i had came accross... only difference is mine is a automatic, so there where a few different steps i didnt need to do as well as different size bolts....nothing major,....you saved me lots of money and frustration on how to actually do it...your a life saver !

that video was soooo well put together i loved how you showed us the procedure on the part outside of the car then switched back to when the part was still on the car for us visual minded folk

I can’t imagine how much time and effort it must have taken to record and edit the whole thing, thank you! From some of the reinforced bits it looks like you track or auto-x the m3, what events do you run?

Started mine earlier, snapped 5 of the 6 exhaust downpipe studs. How did you get yours out?

Thank you Han. I think my rear main seal is leaking oil. I'm getting oil leak at trans and motor. Been waiting for a video from you. Also I'm having major vibration from my driveshaft. no play on driveshaft when i move it.

Why did you loosen the front subframe bolts for and secure the engine with a hoist for?

Any idea what to do if it gets stuck on the input shaft 🗿 I got all the torx bolts out on the casing but it doesnt seem to budge past an inch or so
