How did you achieve this? Must one pay £275 for justice? I ask because an injury private car parking firm got me a ccj on bogus ground back in March 2020 when all else stopped, but the country court criminals were in full swing

Hi. I got a CCJ but didn't know about it till after a month had past as I had moved house a year before. My mortgage company caught wind of it and paid it off for me but think it may have been just after a month. How can I get this removed as it is quite unfair if I didn't know about it. When I make phone calls I'm always asked for the CCJ notice letter but have never received one. Any idea would be great. Thanks

Hey there! With regards to paying off a debt in 30 days but wishing to give court proof of payment and wanting to canel the entry on the register, is this an N244 or an N433? I can see the reply you gave below mentioned an N244 but set adise judgment and cancel listing are different right? Paid full amount within 30 days so just want to cancel the entry. However logging in to my clear score today, i can see a notification saying it will be added to the report tomorrow. Will this still be an N433 and will I getany points back once removed from the registry trust and of course the credit score providers? Thanks!

Hi Luke! Form N244 is used to set aside the CCJ, while form N443 is for a Certificate of Satisfaction, or proof that you've paid in full. You might be better served with the N443. Hello @ranamuna1990! You should fill out a completed CCJ removal form N244 and send it to the court. They will review the CCJ and remove it from your credit file if warranted. Hope this helps!

Hi, I noticed I ad a CCJ added to my credit score the other day, but I want to get it removed within the 30 days in which I think I have until 9th February so if I get a response back from you asap that would be appreciated! The steps I've taken is to call the Civil National Business Centre to work out who the debt is for as I have no idea, which is frustrating, but I've called at least 6 times and you never get through even waiting 35mins a time then it just hangs up, I have even sent an email yesterday stating that all I want to know is who has claimed against me so I can call them direct and make payment as its only £472.00 so I'd like to get this sorted rather than me ruining my credit file. Any advice to find out who I owe if I cant get through to the courts??

@@MoneyNerd thanks for the response, meanwhile I managed to finally get through to the courts and find out who the claimant was and have now paid off the debt so it has been removed from my file :)

So what about when you pay the ccj within 1 month ? U didn’t specify

Hi Marvin! paying the CCJ in full within 30 days of the issuance will clear the record, sometimes automatically. If you want the court to set aside the CCJ, then you can fill out an N244 form. Hi, my CCJ is 2 years old, can i clear it if i pay it off in full? Or do i still have to wait six years?

Hi @umeriqbal8269! Outside the 30-day payment window of the CCJ being issued, the CCJ will appear on your credit score for 6 years before being automatically removed. Hope this helps!
