I had fiberglass shards all on/in my hand, I used this paste and save my hand. So I must say thank you, I'm glad theirs are people like you in this world.

I had insulation ALL over my forearms heading to my shoulders and I tried tape, glue , and everything else online and I found this video. I had to re apply the paste several times within a few days and it worked great. I started seeing it go away after a day ! Thank you very much

Hi Chris. I know what you're talking about. I used to go up into enclosed attics, then I would instantly sweat, and then lay down in fiberglass trying to get holes drilled or wires fished out from the edge of the house (over the windows). Makes me itch just to think about it. Glad this helped. JR

I work with fiberglass insulation all day, 5 days a week(with minimal discomfort)... can tell you the best routine I've found.. , after finishing your shift, dust your clothes down (good idea to wear long sleeve ones) til you can barely see any airborn fibers (recommended while still wearing PPE mask), remove said over garments an bag them for laundry later,, then prior to leaving your job site, WASH YOUR ARMS & FACE IN COLD WATER with a site or garden tap somewhere, pref with spray hose attachment, , dry your arms off, an try not to sweat as much as possible on your way home, sweat creates moer irritation... Chuck uniforms wash on cold cycle as many as ur washing machine has. , after this just have a shower make sure when you lather areas of skin with fibers on them, you make runoff water run away from your body, lather with warm water, an then rinse everything off for like 20-30 seconds with cold water scrubbing well to so ur skin is nice an cold (closing pores) n then agitate that shit out of your skin pores... worse thing you can do is shower (full hot water) an lather like normal shower, shit will go everywhere n u will have itchiness for daysss

Did you tried using some masking tape? Just put it where it itch then pull it out, that way the fiber or the element that is causing skin to itch will be picked by the tape continually do it till the itching is gone.

I’ve used apple cider vinegar mixed with lemon juice and water to help dissolve the fiber glass particles by bathing in apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. You can also put a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and lemon juice in a spray bottle mixed with water and spray your whole body to dissolve the fiber glass particles as well. Also make sure you spray the area where you’ve been so it doesn’t spread through out your house or job.

Probably should have watched the entire video before I started...got myself stuck at my kitchen sink for 20 mins for fear of dripping this shit all over the house lol...it worked like a charm though, good video man..thanks alot!

my fiber glass problem is a fine light blue power aerospace product called S-glass II that stuff is nasty to grind on it spreads everywhere. Gets in your car wont blow off with air, vacuum and has little barbs that can stick to metal

I installed fiberglass roof insulation for about a year and we were basically swimming in it.. We started just soaking in the pool everyday after work for half an hour and would not each after the swim (figured it was the chlorine or skin going soft n wrinkly and it falling out) But no pool now and restoring a fiberglass boat. So cheers i hope this works.

i do marble and granite fabrication. many of the slabs have a layer of fiberglass epoxy plaster on the bottom, to prevent breaks in the stone. this is hell for all granite fabricators, ive been in thetrade for 4 years now and it never bothered me really until i started working at this shop with bad ventilation. now it has become a big problem. all of my clothes are ridden with it. no matter how much i wash them it seems to always get the best of my skin, recently large bumps pop up in patches were the fabric has made contact and irritated from the glass matted in the fabric, then i scratch the bumps till they bleed becuase the itching is un bearable. Actually considering quitting my job i cant take this much longer im absolutley miserable when im itching. and im running out of clothes to wear. even my socks and boxers have gotten it in them. ill try this, but honestly this is no way to live. osha should stop this fucking problem its sad what people have to go through just so companys can save money on textile expenses. but who cares about us working class folks anyways. guess we'll just rot in itchy hell FML!!!!!!!!!

if you have some in a small spot, take clear nail olish and coat the area. once it dries in about 5 mins peel it off

I did this same method only with my own feces, an by the fuck, it worked! But be aware, once the 💩 matter had dried though, it pulled a good amount of arm hair out, along with the glass fiber, so mission accomplished! Would never have thought of it if it wasn't for this educational video, thanks

this is interesting. i have never seen this method before. i've done some digging on the internet and i have heard duct tape his a decent method. but the most successful way i heard was using glue. people would apply elmer's white runny glue on their areas then let it dry, peel away and were cured.

A very easy way to remove it instantly is to purchase some nylon stockings. I usually keep 3-4 pair handy. We the body, take the fiberglas off by rubbing off with the stocking... It is off...

Ok, they knew it was a hazard back in the forties. Some kind of a good tape, like duck tape to pull some of the glass fibers out. There's got to be something better. I brushed against some duck board, and man.. it is some itchy, it even whelped up my skin.. Imagine getting it in the eye or lungs... geez! The duck tape seemed to work some.

Try apple-cider vinegar...it works according to boat riggers.

Also if you use the scalpel almost all of it goes away without residual itching but rub the scalpel the way the shards are running don't go against the shards

Ok so I'm not saying this to be mean or mess with anyone. But I had the Fiberglass in my skin on my arms and I do plumbing for the union so it was a lot of Fiberglas because of the amounts. I took to this video to try it and I did it 3 times and I was getting really pissed off. While I was in the shower I got so aggravated I took my mesh ball sponge (bath sponge) and I scrubbed both of my arms really hard for a few seconds. I swear to god when I say worked it really did I was shocked and happier than ever .. Give it a try if this doesn't work for you

i know what this paste is doing . its glueing the fibreglass to it self , why not just use glue ? if it can work for splinters can work for fibreglass, duck tape my work to but my vote gone be glue . 1:used duck tape worked fine for big open areas you have to press it very very hard 2:duck tape didn't work great for my hands and fingers i used glue for them. basic paper glue. used glue over all my hands waited 2-3 mins and rinsed it all with water and worked great . but still worked for me , my not work for you .but if you want try it out .
