This tutorial is a simple (yeah, I know I'm kidding) quick, (yup, I have more jokes) one, on how to remove the glove-box from a 1998 BMW 528i. The reasons one may have to do this include: replacing the glove-box strut, accessing the multitude of fuses and relays hidden behind it, starting full dash removal, maybe weight reduction as well, because it was surprisingly heavy for a simple glove-box.
The tools you will need are: a 10 mm socket(3/8 & 1/4 socket), long extension (for both), flat head & Philips head screwdrivers, your hands, and determination. (And some flexibility).
