Hey Raider, your videos are absolutely amazing and perfect to learn. I would sooo love for you to do a video on a S&S or Darkhorse flywheel/crankshaft. It would be the dream to have a 0 runout engine, which is the foundation of everything. This would be the most trickiest to install at home so a video on that would be extremely useful

If you remove the mounting bolts for the oil cooler and rectifier you can move the oil tube out of the way and access the front manifold bolts much more easily.

That’s definitely another technique. With my setup, I’d have to disassemble my fairing spoiler kit. Thanks for the input though!

Great video, I have a seep from my front cylinder manifold, but my 3/8ths socket is too fat to fit in to purchase the bolt, what sockets you using? I may have to grind mine thinner. Also what about the o rings on the inside?

Now, you can loosen up your engine oil cooler screws, and it will give you more room to access the manifold screws. As for the replacement screws and o-rings, I would contact your local Harley Davidson. They will get you the exact screws and o-rings you need.

Hi, is any oil screens exist in the oil pan to prevent get contamination to the oil pump ? Or how the Harley solve this potential hazard by installing suction holes not in the bottom of the oil pan ? What happend if something fall to the oil pan during checking oil level, for example small stone or metal piece? M8 engine. I will be glad if you could write and explain how the oil is sucked to the pump.

There’s nothing there as of now, and I don’t believe Harley will ever add that. You could always use a home maid screen.
