I love watching your videos purely because of your calm laid back presentation. Do you ever lose your composure and swear at a job? 😂😂

You are simply the best. My local Toyota dealer would have just broken the last tab off and figured I'd never notice. They've done that to me with the airbag recall (destroyed half of my dash), oil change damage and other issues. Of course, I don't go there anymore and instead do all the work myself with help from your wonderful videos! Thank you.

I took my Taco to have the local Toyota dealer replace one transmission cooler line. I would say one hour job the most. They charged over $600 labor plus part and transmission oil over $400 . That's seems excessive for one part and oils.

Thank you for taking the time to show how it's done. I'm about to change my headlights on my 2015 Tacoma.

Yup, my son’s Tacoma has that problem with the original headlight assembly. Those new lights look amazing. Thanks for showing us where the hidden fasteners are located.

So even Toyota sticks it too their customers on defective designed things. I really like the way you explain what you are doing.

You're video was extremely helpful. The two clips at the bottom of the grill, No other video I found said nothing about them. Keep up the awesome work!

Very helpful. Thanks. I just replaced the headlight set in my 2006 Tacoma base. The first headlight assembly took me almost an hour (learning curb) but the second got done in 40 minutes.

I have found that every car manufacturer has issues with these composite lights. They need to go back to glass, but then they can’t make money replacing or repairing them.
@andrewlaw4 жыл бұрын
They can't because of safety regulations.
@Altruistic004 жыл бұрын
Nahhh. glass is dangerous for pedestrian impact, not really for them to make money.

Is this repair possible without a big vehicle lift like the one you used when reaching for the hidden final 10mm bolt under the front bumper piece? Can one hypothetically lay on the ground underneath the front of the truck and still reach the bolt and turn it? Amazing video, great presentation. Thanks.
@gtolex862 жыл бұрын
You don’t need a vehicle lift to do this upgrade. It can be done from the ground, but it just takes more time...

Do you know anything about the catylyst monitor on a Toyota corolla? I've driven my 1998 corolla almost 400 miles and it's still failing emissions because the catylyst monitor is incomplete.

Is it normal to have condensation on new headlights and I would like to know if those headlights have a vent to remove condensation thanks
@vinr68678 ай бұрын
The burnout happened to my 2010, Toyota doesn't care even though it could be hazardous for the bulb to melt into the plastic. Took me about 3 hours but I did it myself.
@bwest-yq3uc4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I am not seeing what you are doing. How much are the headlights $$? Purchased from where?

All that plastic on my 02 tacoma was so brittle. Don't know how many tabs I broke. If you replace your headlights don't be tempted by buying the cheap ones on amazon/ebay. Quality totally sucks. Spend the money. Wish they went to glass. I wonder if the 96 tacoma uses glass as I think they might fit.

I swear, Toyota goes out of their way to make even the most routine maintenance as difficult as possible.
@adksport4023 Жыл бұрын
I remember unbolting 2 small bolts on top tabs and pulling entire headlight out of older vehicles. They did nothing but, intentionally complicate simple tasks so you bring them in to get serviced. It's pretty disgusting how the companies screw over their customers.
