Great video! And, what a, relatively, easy thing to do! I think you might be on to something with some sort of customised or "different" replacements even just for people to change the look of their car. I am sure an LED strip or LED patterned one, which could run from the DRL loom/circuit would look pretty snazzy!

1:49 applying heat from a hair dryer on HIGH or a heat gun on LOW helps greatly here.

Can you confirm if the Evoque dashcam power loom you sell works on this disco sport now you have one? It's the same console i'm told. Also when will they be back in stock please.

Hi Colin - I have looked at the wiring diagram the ignition live seems to come from an airbag warning light circuit so I am still investigating this - for some reason they changed the wiring !

@@L663 Thanks for replying. Actually I am having a Discovery Sport 2015 and I installed the Android headunit myself. However, I felt it very strange that I’m not able to switch on the headunit if the ACC cable is not connected. Also, the reverse camera only works occasionally that doesn’t appear automatically when I switch to R in the gearbox. Sometimes it’s ok, sometimes not I have searched the KZfaq and there isn’t any proper and detailed installation method as you did in the previous cars Thanks anyway, always support

Before buying new one’s would it be worth rubbing them down with 3000 grit and clear coating them with 2K lacquer just like headlights 🤷‍♂️

It would be fantastic if u made black gloss covers that clipped onto the C pillar. ( after removing the LR badge ) The DS would then have a proper two tone look. I love that above the door line, u can have all the other trims, and roof in black, but the C pillars, stay body colour, and ruins the look… 🤷🏻‍♂️
