My car was abandoned on the side of the road because my boyfriend and I couldn’t find the key to the lug nut. Have been out here for hours trying to figure out what to do… THANK YOU!!! This video saved us and got my car back on the road!!!

Thank you. I'm going to try. Got a flat and had to tow home. Good idea in theory, but I bought my car used from the dealer. I didn't realize I didn't have a key or needed until I didn't have until time to change.

Is the socket that you hammered able to be removed from the nut to use on the other wheels as well?

@XX-bo5pb yes if it gets stuck that a slim extension & knock it out, but most times mines comes right out. Every now and then you’ll get one that’s stubborn

It will work, but you do need that 19 mm 12-point socket to get it off

No. As long as you can get it out of your socket. You can reuse it, or just replace them they’re pretty inexpensive at advanced auto parts
