Can't do that the nuts are on the back side of the panel

Hi Raymond , just remove the panels today , no problem with the front speakers but couldn't figure out how to remove the rear speakers for my W212 , on the rear they have no rivets , any hints ? Thanks you

They have a tab on the top. Slide a plastic pry tool to lift the tab then twist it clockwise.

Hey Raymond. l always wondered how you find out how to do these trim removals in the first place? cars seem to get harder, well perhaps not harder, just im more scared of braking something. In the UK we have haynes manuals, which can be a bit crap, do you have an electronic workshop manual or something?

I do have a shop manual that covers some parts, but honestly it's a mixture of doing this on other cars and trial and error. Sometimes I have to remove and install the components one or two times before I film it.

ah yes that makes sense, im looking forward to seeing what difference in sound quality the new speakers make, because my S204 has the best sound of any system l have had, apart from not having a sub. its uk spec AMG Sport, so perhaps they have a high end system? i dont know much about these cars.

nicko500s you will be shocked just how bad the factory system is next to an aftermarket one. I was blown away, and it's not even amplified yet

6.5" mids with 3/4" tweet. Rears are 6.5" coax
