@@JohnsonsSmallEngines Yeah, been there done that. Now J&B weld, safety wire and parachute cord. A new deck is almost what I paid for the mower.

I usually lay down a plastic tarp under the mower, it makes moving the deck out more easily and doesn’t scrape the paint off the edge of the deck. 👍👍. also, you can take some pictures for a reference later on.

Thanks. I'm working my way through a junk LA105 that was left outside for years. Next up is to remove the mower deck and figure out what all is rusted away.
