Much easier way: poke a hole through the adhesive, then stick a piece of MIG wire through the hole. That stuff is really strong, will cut right through the adhesive. Or, you can put a scraper blade in an oscillating multi-tool, it also goes right through it with little effort.

Wow, that's a massive challenge for Bondo work!

The way to remove a glued car window ; find yourself a pianostring and make a small opening in the glue then feed the tring into it and by making a sort of saw/saw movement you can cut the glue.

You can use a thin steel wire .. but it will be a 2 man job .. one inside and outside the car ..

What a shame you lost you original footage..... Have you ever tried stainless steel wire to cut those windows..... I've done many that way ..... And some vehicles have actual screws holding the quarter glass in....those plastic pins are easier!

Don't forget to use primer on the bare metal and scratches. I think there is one specifically for window installations.

does that work? yes it does but that quarter glass is encapsulated. you blade should be sharp on one side so the blade travels only one way. you can go towards the body or glass, sense that glass is encapsulated go towards the body so you don't touch the encapsulation. some parts of the video you can see you did cut the Moulding. but good job for just a puddy. proper tools make the job come out better.

Never, never, never use a dull painters putty knife to remove a factory fixed glass panel that is not already damaged or broken. You can easily scratch the glass, damage the black painted edging on the glass or break the tempered panel altogether. Be smart, use a length of stainless steel welding wire from your MIG welder. Heck, you can even use a piece of flux core MIG wire to easily poke through the 3M mastic and simply maneuver the wire around the window to the clips in a matter of a few minutes. NO SWEATING I PROMISE. But seriously, why remove the window in the first place? It was completely unnecessary and a giant waste of time and material. Why are Europeans so stubborn? Why didn't you consult your subscribers and simply ask us how to do this job? Better still, why not just watch a youtube video on vehicle window removal hacks? Tisk-tish.
