Great video! Replacing the damaged exhaust mount shown at 3:12 will also greatly help with reducing vibrations.

Thanks for the video! I have a maxima 07 and I've done the front right side mounts. I've been looking on how to do the rear one for months since the rear mount is not as accesible as the other ones but now you gave me courage to do it

Thank you for the video, it really helped out, I couldn't remove the exhaust, so I removed the cv axle and was able to get the job done. I also bent the side tab (for the heat shield screw) on the new mount, and was able to bend it back out when I got the mount back on. On this van that I worked on, it didn't have a mount on the bottom of the transmission, it was up on top, under the battery.

I just replaced two motor mounts, a radiator, and a thermostat on a Nissan Murano for a relative. She told me that the dealer had quoted her over $2000 for the repairs. I thought that was a really high quote since the parts were less than $200.

It’s same in 04’ Nissan Murano 3.5L Engine. I don’t take catalyst converter off. Just move a little bit up and down. Rear engine mount.

I would say its about a half a days work but i actually spent 2 partial days . The first day was figuring out how I was going to remove the rear mount without pulling the engine . The next time around I could get it done in 3 or 4 hours I think . The bolts are really tight on that rear mount and its kinda of tricky getting everything in and out with limited space and visibility but its not that bad . Ive seen worse. The difference this rear mount made was 90 percent of the vibrations in my case so its really a significant mount . The mount by the tran/drivers side is easy , just remove it while the engine and tran is lifted getting the bolt . The main thing is saftey first and take your time . Is this the same for the maxima with the same engine?

The rear mount itself is the same and is held by 3 bolts. Removal on the maxima I believe may be easier to access the bolts than the quest. Thanks for the feedback

Did u use OEM mounts or aftermarket? If aftermarket, what brand?

They were aftermarket that were ordered online , I do not recall the brand but they were one of the cheaper aftermarket mounts. Thank you for watching

The front center mount had the wire connector on this model. The rear did not . However I believe some models have the sensors on both and the only way to know for certain would be to examine the rear for a wire. Thanks for watching.
