I cut the pan connector out and replaced with the wurquin flexible connector. Much better and give a better seal.

Do I need to close any water before I start with this job?

I’ve got that pipe type of waste outlet. Could you tell me could I also get away with this technique without removing the whole toilet / cistern. Mine has a plastic ring seal round the joint also. Assuming that can be removed to access the part. ?

My toilet has a black rubber bung at that point. Can I just cut it out and replace it with the wax? Or should I leave it in place and out the wax over? Toilet has been smelling like pee and today I found that that's where it's leaking!

Sick and tired of this crap. It doesn't work. Starts leaking again every now and then, have to rework the wax. Is there an alternative?

What could it be if the leak is at the bottom and the waxring is fine?

I used it 3 months ago and there was no leaking. But this September it started leaking again and when I check,the candle was desolving due to heat because it's now summer.😭
