Thank you for being specific about the 1/2" cold rolled steel bars for the torsion spring. That was an inexpensive must have tool for the job. Solid

@@danielhagberry8910 it probably does, but I don't know much about rebar and steel. I have had some rebar bend on me (in other applications not meant for it) so I didn't want to chance it as I'm winding up that spring.

Thanks, was a bit scary using my old golf shaft and a few socket extention bars to release the tension. I recommend getting real bars for this especially if your not too strong.

When I tear out old doors I do not waist time unwinding the torsion spring 😂😂😂 cut the cables and let er eat then tear out unless it’s an old Crawford door or any old wood door then I’ll unwind
