How to Remove the Front Seat - B6/B7 Audi A4 2002-2008 (Wolf Auto Parts)

Today we're going to show you how to remove the front seat of an Audi A4 B6/B7.
Step 1: Move the seat to the most forward position possible
Step 2: Tilt it up and for ease, put the back forward too
Step 3: Slide up the seat belt panel
Step 4: Loosen the clip inside and push it down to detach bottom portion of the belt
Step 5: Go behind the seat and remove the two rear bolts from the guards
Step 6: Use a pry bar to remove the push pins underneath the guards
Step 7: Slide off the guards
Step 8: Undo the two bolts in the track and remove them
Step 9: Move the seat all the way back
Step 10: Remove the same push pin up front, as you did from the back
Step 11: Undo the bolts from the front track and remove them
Step 12: Get the seat to the center position of the track and tilt it backwards
Step 13: Pull panel on the floor off
Step 14: Pinch the clip to detach
*Make sure your battery is off
Step 15: Pull up wiring

Can you move the seat backwards on the rail to gain more leg room for the driver?. My 2005 A4 cabriolet has a couple of holes on the rail that are not used towards the back. Do you think thats possible?

ok wolf auto parts...i removed my seats and have at least 5 to 6 more plastic pieces that go around the tracks but, i dont remember the configuration? Do you have a video of that or do you know where i might look? thx

I have a 08 Cabriolet that motor is not working and I'm unable to get the passenger seat to go back to take the front screws off. Is there a way to move it manually? Or do I have to dissemble the whole seat?

Does anyone have any info on removing the backseat of a 2003 audi a4 cabriolet. Can it be done without removing the headrest tubes ? The bottom seat just pops out. I need to replace a window regulator but can't get the seat out to do it. Any info is greatly appreciated.

My thigh support section won't tilt up or down. Every other adjustment works, except this. Really annoying and I can't find a good driving position. It just makes a noise when I try to move it

I went to store and its not Triple square 10mm its larger the seller said its 16mm but they havent got it.. does anybody have any idea can i screw out with the torx or just with XZN??

I think the A4 B6 seats needs bracket mods in order to fit in a B5 Passat.. So, I presume the A6 would be the same or even worse.

You should still be able to remove the seat. You might need some u-joint swivel adapters to help you access the bolts. A more important issue is why does your seat not work? Motor? Fuse?

XZN for the screw and you can just use regular bigger screw driver tu put behind plastic and pul to yourself

Remove key from ignition. Remove fuse. Remove battery terminal.

Torx 30 in the back of the steering wheel.

This is a site I'm REALLY glad I found. I'm a bit tall for the wife's A6 in that I like to straighten my legs from time to time and can't in her car. Is it possible to relocate the mounting track rearward or the seat on it's tracks. Don't expect an answer but then one never knows??? tennier@sbcglobal.net And thank you.
