My goodness, the other Tridents I’ve worked with come off easily, but mine took forever. I essentially warped and complete destroyed my orange flash hider in order to take it off

I got the orange flash hider off but my metal one keeps getting stuck while trying to put it on even while applying more than enough heat. It almost goes on all the way but stops right before it’s flush, idk what to do

I just did this on my krytac that I just bought and when I put the new one on I guess it didn’t thread on correctly and it stripped the threads clean off of the barrel. And I’m positive that since I took the flash hider off my warranty is voided. Not your fault man just me who messed up.

Yes, so you can access the little grub screw. The barrel's end is covered by the rail.

I tried this with my alpha crb, and we got to the wrench part after blow drying it, and it wouldn’t come off, and I got scared it would brake, do I need to heat it more? Or have a professional look at it?

Heat it more. Anyways if the plastic one breaks just get a metal one.

Use a wrench. You won’t damage the AEG, but the orange plastic flash hider may crack a little, which isn’t a big deal considering you’re most likely replacing it with a metal flash hider. It takes a bit of torque to break apart the sealant between the threads of the barrel and the orange plastic.

@@barnard. yes i did. i took a pair of pliers and kept braking it off till it was all off the threads , then i went over it a lot with thread clearers and it worked

Almost all Krytac guns are 14mm negative threads, the common in the AEG Industry is 14mm Negative, if you can never find what thread your gun is, just get a 14mm negative, 9 times out of 10 it will work...
