I received a very badly damaged 8mm tape that had been melted and was asked if I could try and repair it. I made no promises but check out the video to see if I was successful or not.

Do you charge for repair? What do you charge for video tape transfer? Great job.

Basic repairs like splicing or putting tape into a new home is $10.00. A job like the melted tape is $50.00 due to all of the time it takes to put the tape on a new spool.
