Hi, I would like to thank you, because thanks to your instructions I managed to repair my Samsung 32' UE32H6200 TV. We own it for almost 4 years. One day, after being turned on for about 10 minutes, it started to show random flickering horizontal lines, starting from top left. As the time passed with TV on, the horizontal lines multitued. I followed your instructions, step by step. The problem was with flat cables. After disconnecting and reconnecting, the problem was gone! I was lucky. That is our first Samsung TV and maybe the last. It was sad to see it been broken after just 4 years of use. On the other hand, we have a couple of LG TVs that work without any problem for more than 10 years. God bless you!!! Thank you again!!!

Super helpful! I got halfway through troubleshooting my TV with suspicions that the main board is the issue, but I wasn't sure how to eliminate the t-con as a possibility. Apparently it's as easy as unplugging it 😂 Thank you!

My tv that isn’t even a year old just quit working. No red light even after attempting to reset and try a new outlet. We had some bad storms and I think that’s what did it. This video was very straight forward and helpful. I plan to use this in figuring out what is wrong with my tv so I can fix it. Love the message at the end of the video when you mentioned keeping TVs out of the landfill yards. Not many people are worried about sustainability these days. Love to hear it. thanks for the video!

That unit is over 15 years old it is going to be hard to find a good main board. I think you are spot on with your prognosis- main board. Remember you also have the other boards and backlights in this unit that are also 15 years old. Consider cutting your losses of time and money.

Yup! Those wifi modules will strangely give off that green screen. My old TV did the same thing for a bit and I didn't use the wifi anyway so it saved me a lot of money realizing that. Wished I had found this video before that as it took me a while to solve lol

Great video - i checked this out today as my UE75nu8000 has red flashing light and wont power on, I removed the back and removed the cable from power to the board and the TV was lit up permanently. Plugged it back in and didn't work. Then took out the 2 panel cables and the TV was back lit again. So this has led to me believing the panel is at fault and that was all down to this video so thanks

Thanks for the video, it was quite helpful. What I discovered is that if I unplug the T-Con, (with the Main and PS Boards connected), I get a lit screen. If I then disconnect the PSB from the Main Board, the clicking/flashing returns.The original problem was the screen flashing on and off and clicking when I switched it on. The only way I could get it to stop was to unplug the unit.

For everybody that try everything shown here and it’s doesn’t work, I has found a better way that work for me and wants to shares with u guys before u consider throwing tv away. My Samsung TV was dead, no led power light I unplugged the power core, after that I pressed and hold down the power button on back of the tv(my is in the back) for 1 minutes, then plug the power core back in, and press power button on remote and u will see the screen turn on. I have watched a lots of videos they all saids holding power button on tv for 30 seconds, except only 1 are said holding down for 1 mins, I try that and it’s work. Thanks to that, and only 1 video said holding down for 1 minutes.

Great video, even if I haven’t solved the problem (yet) it was such a good experience to do it along with you. Two questions: 1. I could see the backlight, I could hear sound, I could cast thought most of the time casting didn’t work. But the screen dimmed like it returned to standby mode after few seconds. So is it necessarily still means the power supply is ok? 2. After concluding it’s the t-con I took the part model number printed on the board, is it necessarily mean this is the part model number or I need to look on the numbers on the barcode?

Your power supply is fine. I would also check the ribbon cables to and from the t-con board for brown spots which indicate over heating. Check the printed circuit boards that is connected to the LCD panel for burnt component.

MY MACHINE Samsung UA32F5000AR - was not switching on but there was a red ignition light - I followed your tips one by one but at the end I still was unsure as to what the problem was - I watched another video which stated that he had a TV with similar symptoms as mine and that he replaced the main board - after doing that it for some reason he replace the OLD main board and his board worked ????? Crazy I know. So I disconnected my board and then reconnected it and WOW - IT'S BACK! .... really not sure what the or how I fixed it but it works again - a little scared to switch it off ..haha. But I really like d your video and wish it had a little more info like were to get parts etc .... anyway thanks again

Had the same issue, red indicator light was like a sonar...disconnected the back of the unit, lifted the lid and put it back down. Thought I’d plug it in and see what would happen and it’s working again. Could it be something was pinched? We’ll see how long we have life lol.

So, did you disconnect the two ribbon cables from the t-con board to the LCD panel to see if your tv power up? Now if it does, you do have a panel issue. A panel is worth the cost of replacing that tv for a new one. Buy a new and sell the boards inside on Ebay. Hope this helps.

Great video! I have a LG TV (65uh6150) that when I plug into wall the backlights start blinking. I thought maybe my backlights were bad but when I took apart and tested the backlight LEDs they all worked. I also disconnected main board and it did the same thing. Do you think I have a bad power supply? Here's another thing I tried. With main board disconnected I took a voltage reading of 175 at backlight plug. When I reconnected main board the voltage increased to 380.

Very good and clear video, very sympathetic! Might be a stupid question but anything you have said will work for every LCD TV like Philips, LG, Panasonic...NOT just Samsung? I ask this cause I wanna know if it's not possible to damage the TV just because I plug it up and 1 or 2 cables are disconnected/unplugged? Because I guess I have to replace my LED backlight and when I do I wanna test the LED backlight before and afterwards and then a few cables and the panel will be diconnected...that's not a problem, I can plug it up? Awesome video so clear and simple ! I’ve got an old Samsung tcl tv not smart tv and it turns on and looks good for about 5min than it loses reds and the picture looks purple with just a little yellow left but mostly dark purples. My tcon board is built into screen so I can’t disconnect it. What do you think it is ? LCD backlight ? Thank you please reply

Hi Sr.I have a Samsung tv UN65F6350AF build in 2013 I have image in the hole Screen but only three lines of led are on top side the rest nine are off so 2/3rds of the bottom are semi obscured you think the problem is in the LEd's strips or could be something else I will appreciate your answer thank you.

Replaced the backlight led stripes. All of them. Hope this helps

You sir are the shit!! After changing power supply and backlight strips. Same blinking light. Once I unplugged the mainboard bang lights come on. All other parts plugged in lights came on. Plugged main board back in..dead. It's the main board. Many Thanks sir!!

Helpful video. If my backlights are much dimmer (but still on) with the t-con board connected, does that mean my problem (no picture, dark bluish screen) is probably a bad t-con board?

Does this apply to Sony KDL 60EX700 models too? When i unplug the mainboard & tcon board from powerboard.. the backlights don't come on (did check backlight strips with tester- it works)

the t-con components can be on the main board or the printed circuit board connect lcd panel.

quick question. If you remove the power strip from the Power Source Board to Circuit Main Board, will that cause the Samsung to restart. Will I lose my pre saved apps like Netflix, and favorite settings? I have Samsung 50 inch 7 series tv. Thank you! for your help. you have great videos.

hey Andrew, thanks for checking out my video. removing the lead connector cable between the power supply board and main board only lets you know that the main board and the led strips are good when the led strips light up. you will not loose you pre saved apps and favorite settings. please subscribe to our channel and go to patch1stripe.com/ for your tv replacement parts needs. thank you!

I am studying your video and appreciate all you have done. My 3-year old 55KS8000 television decided not to come on at all. I don't and never had a red light on it. It's just the white light in the front that is supposed to come on when the TV is turned on. But now, it seems that the TV just died. Nothing comes on. Any idea about which board I should focus on replacing? Thanks again for your great video. I am now a subscriber.

Hello, you have a high end tv but the troubleshooting is the same. Disconnect the lead connector from the main board and tell me if the backlights come on. If it does not the problem is with your power supply or back lights. Don't guess around buying boards, go through the complete process. It will save you money. You can do take your time. Hit me back

some colors are darker on mine (they show on test picture so I know it's some issue with the TV). For instance , looking at grayscale, the mid part of the scale shows as green. I was going to buy a t-con board. what do you think?

think about the possibility that you may have individual leds that has failed in your back light. send a photo i may can help you better.

reconnect you short ribbon cables between the t-con board and the LCD panel and try the tv again.

Thanks for replying to my question. Here's an update on my tvs health... I took it apart as you already know. Inspected it as suggested.btook some running alcohol and a qtip and gently wiped the circuit boards, after many hours of internet searching for a solution I had to put it back together so I wouldnt lose any parts. Did so. Plugged it in. It works now! Maybe it did a soft reset and 'cured' itself? It connected to my homes wifi network without me plugging anything new in so it wasnt a hard reaet. Is this a normal occurrence, to stop working for days. Then work again? Any thoughts?

You are welcome. There are several videos out there that show you how to use your remote to get into the servicer menu. From there it will tell you how to invert your picture. I would look it up " Samsung TV with upside down video or picture". Maybe "How to". This will help you correct your problem - no big deal. Hope this help, if not let me know and I will find it for you.

Question for you, as I can tell you what happened before you the screen went blank. I will follow your video tips tomorrow as well. I was watch TV using the KZfaq app when all of a sudden the video appeared disjointed as when something doesn't follow download. Going back to the menu was fine but when I watched another video it did the same behavior and then switched off. Any clue what it might be based on my details?

Question about Samsung Mainboards: I have a defective mainboard from a UN55JU6500FXZA (Not curved) Main Board (BN97-10062C). I have been unable to find a good working version. However, I came across the same mainboard (BN97-10062C) pulled from a UN55JU6700FXZA (Curved)...slightly different, but the physical board size will fit perfect. Also the mainboard looks to be the same (BN97-10062C) with a newer manufacturing date. Will this board work in the flat TV?

You using the wrong numbers to search for your replacement part. Also you can not go by looks at all. Watch this video toward the end and it will instruct you how to identify a main board part number on any Samsung TV. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y9eEdaVlzb_Iiok.html

Hi, great video. I have a Samsung T27D390S which I use for my PS4 . It powers on and the led indicator works, if I hold flashlight up to the screen I can see the ps4 home screen faintly. I'm assuming is something to do with the backlight. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Inspect the ribbon cables that connect to the the pc boards from the LCD panel. Also inspect the pc boards from the panel for burnt components. Also try disconnecting and reseating all the flat cable that connect to the t-con board.

I have a un55ks8000fxza. The screen only show a bunch of vertical blue lines in the center of the screen when turned on. I checked to see if any of the ribbon cables got knocked out of place. Do you have any other ideas?

what up Andrew, you could have something going on with your T-Con board but i recommend you unscrew and lift the sheids that cover the address printed circuit boards connected to the LCD panel. Next look for burnt components on those boards - do a close inspection just to eliminate that as a source of your problem. If that checks out, then i would would replace the T-Con board. No promises from me without that tv in front of me. Hope this helps.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video! great! I have UN55MU6300 Samsung and it keeps cycling on and off for 3 seconds or so the minute I plug it in, just a little light no picture. I followed the steps and the backlight is steady for everytime except when both LED strips are inserted, it's even steady when only 1 is inserted (doesn't matter if it's left or right). I haven't measured anything yet but so far most of the parts look good, just at first glance. on this model the T-con and the main board ar combined. So I'm confused if all the parts seperately give a steady back light but when combined the tv cycles on and off. Don't know where to start. Could you advise? Thank you.

have you disconnected the Wifi module to see if the tv comes on with a picture? Let me know.

@@Patch1stripeTVParts yes, I did it step by step first removing and then adding more components, that's how I noticed that with both LED strips inserted it keeps going through the restart cycle. but I don't know if it's a case of not enough power for two LED strips or if the T-con board is defective. I don't know if I'm right but if the LED strips or the boards for the LED's where broken would the tv just stay on without screen or would cycling occur? Most of the video's say graphic problem, T-con?

Oh yeah. In your other video a comment from Robert Huss 2 months ago had the same problem on the same model.
