I’m just putting in the screws from my old mobo + cooler into my new one, I’m ready to pinch these dumb pins off. Fortunately I just have metal brackets where the push-pins are housed, perfect shape + height to screw in. Fingers crossed!

@me fixing everything; it may work with the spare M3 spring-loaded screws you can find online. I realized I’m coming from an ITX, so I don’t have heatsink screws to take from this particular board. I then realized I have the odd 5pin Dell connector, so I had to switch plans anyhow.

LoL! I just did this on an old 65nm CPU with DDR2 memory. Those Intel coolers where their worst design ever. I bought an entire bag of those plastic pins and their sheaths in anticipation of how bad the design was, and I still have spares even today.

Hi, nice vid. I have a similar PC, I am trying to make it better. However, I acitdentally broke off the legs for the fan, and I got scared and almoste cried lol... Can you please give me a detailed instructoin on how to do it(or a link for a new fan like the old one) Thank so much

If you can feel any gap between the cooler and the processor.

I have not connecting hit sink and fan in motherboard hole all nut are broken, and cooling paste not work what i do,if i paste in hitsink any paste like colgate then it is ok or not please help me.
