So far the best tutorial I found on KZfaq for repairing the heel!

This is the work of a master, but I fixed my running shoes by using the foam used for a water heater line (same thing as a pool noodle). Take out inserts first. I cut it to the proper height. Then cut it in half so it was like a C. Then used Titebond thick glue, coating the outside of the C foam piece. Once inserted, I put a piece of cardboard over the foam then used a Quick clamp to press it in to the shoe. I let it dry over night. If you put too much glue, it oozes out the sides, wipe it down with a paper towel. Works great. Covers the entire area including any of the lining which is worn on the sides of the heel.

How does this last over time? I imagine the heat from wearing the shoe plus sweat could make the Titebond wear out.

It's a little hard to tell you because I don't use only one glue while repairing soccer shoes, I use a lot of different adhesives and mix them together. I am sorry but if I use only one glue, I can tell you easily.

That fabric is used for the lining of soccer shoes, and is coated with PU on general fabric.

@@RJ-so5hh You don't have to use the fabric in this video. If you go to the fabric market in your country and use elastic fabrics, there is no problem.
