Great video mate, I’ve got a fine tip on solder gun so might try solder it too myself. If the pins are all in tact and it’s just one side of leg that needs resoldering down would that still work do you think

@@TweakTips just opened it today after trying to get this chewed screw out junior hacksaw did the trick. Just opened up and all pins are bent 😓new part it is

So lets say the pins are all in tact and just the housing itself got ripped off, is it possible to reroute all the pins back in and simply solder the housing back onto the pads that detached from it?

If you are really good at micro soldering, then yes it is possible, but it is probably easier to replace the connector.

Yea I got lucky cause the leg pads stayed but the connector got pulled off. So all I need to do is just connect a new one

Mine broke while I was cleaning dust out my console I took the cable out and the clip literally fell apart the quality of this console for it’s price is unbelievable 🥲
