This is video of a CV joint failure - you can hear the clicking noise in the video, this on put up a fight and needed cutting off.
I show you some tips and tricks to replace the CV joint with a cable tie.
Fun job to do, if you do this - you do it at your own risk!

A garage put the clamps you are using on my Peugeot.208…it was the wrong clips for my car…had another garage replace them when they did nsf wheel bearing..with the correct clips for my car model..the new clamp has made a huge difference The previous garage charge me £119 to fit x2 clips costing only £6.47 for two…

Finally, we connect the Voice to the Face thanks to the tripod! Is it not recommended to replace them both given when one side wears the next is not far from giving up as well? Or ultimately it comes to other factors' costs et al.. Good video as usual keep it coming

Ha, we are doing a podcast this week so you will get to see more of me sadly!! With the changing in pairs subject, I do agree but its always down to the customer as they are paying the bill, I'm just chucking spanners around! we advise them as much as possible!

I am not a mechanic, but are the front and left CV joints the same. A mechanic told me a front right CV joint should fit the left side also. Didn't sound right to me, but thought it would be good to clarify. I have a sandero stepway 1.5 diesel. Thanks

Hi, the outer CV joint should be the same, I can't see why they would be different! best way to check is to get the part number f the side that needs changing and see if it is the same as the other side! However I'm 99.9% sure it will fit if its outer CV!
