In this video I show you how to repair the keys on your MacBook Pro. I found this great company that provides key repair solutions (A Do-It-Yourself kit) for all types of Laptops. If you have the patience it can save you a lot of money and time as well as bring life back to your keyboard.
If you have a macbook or macbook pro with keys that are broken, stuck, sticky, chipped or if your keyboard needs some basic maintenance then you should watch this video.

Thanks for the tutorial, but I have also ordered a brand new Macbook Pro key from the website, and i have wait for about a week now and i still haven't received them. I live in Australia. But I thought they would have been delievered by now. If possible could you tell me how long it took for your keys, you ordered to be delivered. Thanks.

How do I fix my down key? I can go up but it won't let me press down. The down key flickers on and off.Should I clean it out with a duster and cleaner to see if that will work. Any suggestions?

How do you replace the rubber cup? I was thinking of glueing, but then read somewhere that I shouldn't. Replacing the entire keyboard is a bit over my head, but my rubber cup came unstuck and it's driving me nuts.

Question, my key is okay, but the little rubber cap is shifting. I checked other keys and normally it should be stuck on its place. How can i fix this, glue?

I would recommend buying a replacement key from that website that I mentioned in the "How to replace keys" video. The only cost about five bucks or so and the shipping is quite quick if you live in North America.

Richie's Gaming, Gadgets & Gizmos well I also did check that site. They only show old models and also not the part where they swap or fix the cap. For now I've applied a small piece of sticky tape. This prevents it from shifting. It doesn't have that much resistance as it used to due to heavy usage. When it keeps shifting I'll glue it orso or check out the key replacement and hope to find a rut which does cost that section. Thanks for helping
