In this video, we’ll show you how to replace a valve that is not working or needs updating with a new Hunter PGV Valve.
It’s common to receive a service request for a valve that won’t shut down, is leaking, or won’t properly activate from the controller. When you get that call, it’s a good idea to have a new valve on hand in case you need to replace an obsolete model.

And don’t leave old wire and pipe in or near the fix. Ever found a extra wire or a pipe that you are not sure what it’s for? It might be junk a lazy person before you left in the ground.

Tell me, is it possible to rearrange the top cover with a membrane, a plastic ring from 101 to 100 valve, do they have the same body or are they different?

The video shows cutting out the valve on one side, but not unscrewing it from the union on the other side. It would have been nice to see that. How is the clearance created and how much clearance is needed? Is there a danger of breaking the pipe on the other side of the union if the screw threads are frozen? How do professionals handle these things? Don't understand why tutorial videos skip some important steps and spend a lot of time on the easier steps.
