This video shows you how to install a new TRQ CV axle assembly in your 2007-2012 Nissan Versa. A CV axle has flexible joints. Often, these joints wear out, or seize from contaminants due to the protective boot tearing open. A worn joint is prone to breakage, or other hazards. If your vehicle needs a new CV axle, install a quality TRQ axle that is engineered to your vehicle’s specifications.

Thank you for your work. I am currently about to do the same job. Also the lower control arm bushing, outer tie rods, stabilizer links, motor mounts. Yikes.

Good video. I just needed to know what to do with that bearing that seats in the carrier. These Nissan CV axles seem to be well made. I've got about 235k on original ones and I only have to change the right one because that carrier bearing has gone out, took me forever to figure out where the squeaking was from, the axle joints themselves are still good.

Pull whole unit out with bracket. Whole unit pulls out of upper control arm assembly. Use catch can for transmission fluid.

If not releasing use 16 mm to remove 4 bolts holding axle. 4 th boot up above cv axle up above.

Go to lower bolt behind strut. Remove. Place breaker is safe place.

I had to remove cv axle and bracket. Then use a shop press to remove cv axle.

Try removing axle gently from housing. Try hammer than prying or combo of he two but very car-fully:)

Follow cv axle to inner boot. Look for plate. 13 mm. Remove bolt.

Lol TRQ you ain’t fooling me you know that axle doesn’t fit after you hit with a rubber mallet you switched the axle at the end because the new axle bearing isn’t in the right position it doesn’t fully sit in the axle mount now I have to go to auto and buy the right axle for the passenger side

Yeah, the new axle didn’t fit, so he had to put the old one for demonstration! Mechanic should have advise his viewers and give the right recommendation
