You chaps are brill! Just fixed my fan oven. Replaced the fan and motor, the door seal and the heating element. Didn't electrocute myself and the oven is now heating properly. Result!

Good guide. It’s a 10mm socket for the fan bolt by the way. This comment would have saved me a trip to the shed 😂

Hi Love your videos! Insightful as always! I have a Lamona 4401 oven. It gives some heat, and the oven light isn't turning on / and the fan isn't working (I'm assuming as it doesn't make a noise as it does when its on). Would the fan motor need replacing (or could it be the thermostat, or element, or something else)? Thank you in advance for your help!!

great, often changed the element but had not paid attention to the fan..now mine is gone I know how seems straight forward

All 4 screw holes in the fan cover inside my Miele oven have snapped and came out with the screws so now the fan cover hangs in the air. How do you fix that? I am thinking finding matching nuts for the screws and cementing the nuts in the holes with a Permatex compound, which carries the risk of the screws being cemented in place and never being able to get them off. Ideas?

guys, pay attention that the fan is not supposed to work when the door is open. I spent an hour trying to understand why replaced motor stops working after I put on fan blade. The trick is I should have closed the door before testing.

But how do you stop the motor spinning while you undo the nut?

My fan oven motor - the copper wire has come with a copper cover on it. Do I need to take this off or leave it on? 1:53 seconds in.

Hi....this sounds so silly, i changed the fan in my oven and didn't take a picture off wires go where to the fan motor, I have 3 wires earth blue and brown.....I think it blue on right hand connector and brown on other.....earth i know ...is this correct you think???
