I don't live in the US, so I can't take pictures of the item, but I was looking for a way to disassemble the head sponge, and watching the video helped a lot. Thank you very much.

In my case, the actual plastic headband snapped. Had to use a hot knife to weld it back together, since replacements for that particular component couldn't be sourced from Corsair or even a 3rd party. After some sanding, it was pretty much in the same shape.

can the headband be cleaned mine is leather or foamy like and it smells. do i just replace it and cant be cleaned?

I just took my pads off and washed them... 3 times. The top pad I took off and washed and hot-glued it back... just once. But you have to do something because they start to stink after a while. Especially hot summers and sweaty all-night gaming sessions royally fuck those pads up.

only if yours look bad, I can safely say that the ones on the video didnt need to be replaced, mine looks really worse and still great

Please don't use a screwdriver to remove the plastic clips. Get a proper plastic tool. Otherwise good video!
