HOW TO replace the headlight bulbs in your Camaro SS or any car/truck with an HID bulb. The bulbs in this car are a D3S 35W high intensity discharge (HID / Xenon) unit, and boy are they expensive. At $140 PER SIDE, this can add up. I replaced these bulbs just last year and the driver side already burned out!! So I went with a pair off Amazon for only $30!

My passenger side running light went out a while ago on my 2017 2ss . This bulb is the correct one right ?? Not referring to the low beam headlight itself if you know which light I’m talking about .

Trying to swap the bulbs on my 19 zl1 and for the lift of me I can’t get the new bulb OR the old bulb to lock back in.. it feels like it seats where it needs to be but refuses to turn and lock in

Your bulb will last longer if you don't have fingerprints on the glass. You should explain that it's a good idea to clean the bulb if accidentally touched before final installation into the housing.

Update? How have these held up? I'm needing to do this on my 2017 2SS. Pass side OEM bulb has gone pink on me. Are these bulbs worth buying?

I know this video is old but I recent replaced my lights and now when I unlock car the light don’t come on and automatic lights won’t work either. Help?

@@ismaelreyes2222 you gotta wait until nighttime ahahaha. Or if you want to test the lights there’s a sensor in the front dashboard. It’s squared so you just cover that with something dark and your lights should turn on.

Maybe next time add a warning saying be careful bc the light is fragile and the little wire can easily break

Your bulbs don't last because you're putting fingerprints all over them. Wear gloves if you can't do it without touching them like you do.
