Thanks for the vid, half hour job changing mine, 4 screws inside the oven, 10 or so to remove the back panel, simple enough. Would of been quicker, but for the so short mains cable and the wiring the cooker back up to the wall took longer. Saying that, i could of probably got away without taking off the back panel and pulling the element wires through into the oven, which would of made it a 5min job. Anyway, job done, once again, big thanks.

Hi, I have to replace the heating element on my cooker. Im just a bit confused over the wires i saw you snipped them. How would you put in the wires from the new one please. Thanks for your help it is much appreciated :)

Probably a bit late but he didn't snip them , they are push on clips and you just pull them off and when replacing push them back on .

Also you make it sound simple to access the rear - as you will know this could GREATLY complicate the job as the oven often has to be removed from a housing with all the difficulties of weight, 1 or 2 man job, possible damage to housing, removing back plate etc.

Will the fan still work even if the oven won't get hot? 👍 Great video and I feel sure I could replace it with your instructions thank you

yes - the fan only blows air, the oven element provides the heat.

"just follow the same procedure in reverse" -- how do you reverse snipping a wire? Do you solder it on to the element or something?

He didnt snip it. Pulled off spade connectors

Is this element responsible for heating the oven? I know it is a silly question but as you can tell I have no idea.😁
