Hi i spilled some water into my laptop yesterday. Some keys were originally not working and came out different letter. I blow dry and waited until today it was better. Still there are some few keys acting weird. I want to blow dry the internal keyboard. Just wondering once i opened the board using the guitar pick, if i have no intent to replace the keyboard, can I continue ur steps to take it off? I dont really understand what is the next step after the guitar pick.

Glue gun pon boley

I was just wondering, what is the proper way to change those keyboards? I think a hot glue is not an official way for replacing those keyboards. There must be something else...

Are you just using a hot glue gun on the new keyboard? I've got a different ASUS computer that I needed to replace the keyboard for and removed the rivets, but now I need to attach the new keyboard to the frame. I can use it as is for the time being, but it's pretty awkward to type as is.

Just so everyone knows, this isn't the "correct" way to replace the keyboard. You'd have to replace the whole top cover to make it be completely sturdy and what not. This is the cheapest way though. I just put like 4 pieces of tape on it and go from there
