This video I will describes how to replace leaking shower pan in Atlanta Ga. This shower was leaking because the shower curb wasn't installed and waterproofed properly.
This was a brand new bathroom that was renovated 3 months ago. The remodeling company completed the entire renovation in 10 day. Contractors used Schluter 48 x 48 shower pan. Shower curb and knee wall wasn't install correctly and waterproofed. Recessed shelf had 1/4" gaps around it.

Shower Pan Repair Stages:
1. Remove Shower Glass Enclosure - Glass Is Removed By Shower Glass Company
2. Cover Entire Bathroom - Cover work area with: plastic tarps, slip resistant cloth, air purifiers
3. Take Exact Measurements - To make sure that everything will fit exactly like it did before
4. Remove 1 or 2 Rows Of Tiles - Depends on the size of tiles and damage
5. Remove Shower Concrete Pan - KERDI Foam Pan (usually it's 2" of concrete and pan liner)
6. Remove Shower Drain - Cut out old drain
7. Install New Plywood - Small piece of plywood and extra support for it
8. Install New Shower Drain - Oatey 42310
9. Build Waterproofed Pre Sloped Pan - Thin layer of thin set combined with 1" of sand topping concrete reinforced with fiberglass mesh and waterproof with 2 coats of waterproofing membrane
10. Install Rubber Pan Liner - Oatey 40 mil Gray 5' X 6' Liner
11. Install Cement Boards - (Install matching boards Durock, HardiBacker, Fiberock, WonderBoard)
12. Shower and Curb Waterproofing (3 coat of waterproofing membrane)
13. Build Shower Pan - 1 1/2" to 2" Concrete pan, reinforced with fiberglass mesh
14. Install Floor Tiles and Grout It -
15. Install Wall Tiles and Corner Shelf -
16. Install Shower Doors - Glass is cleaned and reinstall by shower door company
