Hi, there. Thank you for your video. I own a 2019 Nissan Leaf S in Northern California, USA. There are some notable differences between my vehicle and the one in your video. I'd like to point them out here in case it could possibly help other people trying to replace the cabin air filters on their 2019 Nissan Leaf S. I needed a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the 10 screws which secured my glove box (there were two additional screws located inside the central cavern of the box). However, looking around the rest of the area, I see the remaining screws outside the glovebox are torx screws.. On this model, the air filter cap was quite in the back, all the way against the farthest wall, and the cap was black in color, not white as in this video. Also, it was necessary to remove it from the bottom up, as the cap notched into the top and latched to the bottom. I, too, have questions about the air flow arrow. I assume that I'm going to go by where the pull tab is in your video. I purchased this Leaf pre-owned over 3 years ago (in June 2021) and the air filter has not been changed since that initial purchase. Whoever installed it last time did an awful job, as you mentioned could happen. It was all bundled up and filthy. I also think they broke my light because I never knew I had one until I almost ripped it out. Everything on my vehicle had to be done opposite yours. The filter needed to be pushed into the top first, then worked into the slot and secured. If my assessment is correct, the previous air filter was installed backwards, however, not in the direction of air flow I assumed, which would be toward the cabin of the car. Thank you for all your tips. The one thing I could not figure out was how to remove only the bottom air filter cover as you showed for the second option. I couldn't pop it off without moving the entire glovebox. Can you offer some more guidance here, perhaps with another video? Thank you again, very much! Taking the glovebox off is so much easier. I tried 20 mins to contort my hands into that gap, no joy.

Mine is 2020 US bought Nissan Leaf ... airbag makes it hard to see but not impossible since I knew what I was looking/feeling for from vid. Done in under 10 min's w/o taking out glove box... also no cut out in glove box to peak through in this model ... would have been nice to have more of a sight line. Thanks.
