I bought this part locally at an after market supplier for $144 plus tax. I thought I got a good deal. I then watched your video for installation tips, and decided to check your price. Even including shipping of $12, you beat their price by $40. And you provided a great video as well. Guess who I'll use for all my parts needs in the future? Be CAREFUL when you pull this Light Bar off of the Vehicle.....there is always 1 button [plastic] that is prob gonna break due to age [brittle]. I got Lucky with a fix, as I had purchased a pk of 75 Body snaps/buttons for securing my aging body panels...so I just installed a new one. Thank You for this video !.

Thanks, Great Video. needed to replace rear passenger tail light assembly on my 2004 CRV. Decided to replace both driver and passenger side assemblies.

You Should Edit The Title To Read "02'-Early 05'" I Just Went Through This Mess With A Catalytic Converter On My 2nd Gen "Early" 05' CR-V. I Bought A Cat Off eBay & It Was Listed As 01'-07' When It Should Have Been Listed As Late 05'-07' Mine Has An Early Build Date Of 03/2004 Which Would Make It 01'-Early 05' My Buddy At AZ Who Got Me The Right Cat Afterward Needed My Build Date To Get Me The Correct 02'- Early 05' Cat Needed. I'm Assuming Since Now It Needs A Brake Light Bulb & The 02'-04' Has The Push/Twist Style Bulb (02'-Early 05') & My AZ Buddy Asked Me If There Was A Metal Strip At The Plug End For The Push In Style Bulb (05'-07') So Again I Need The 04' Style. The 2001 CR-V (1st Year Of 2nd Gen) Probably Used All The First Gen Leftover Hand Me Down Parts That They Could Make Fit & Work. These Companies Aren't Stupid. Whenever There's A New Design Or Major Change During A Production Run They Use All The Leftover/Carryover Parts That They Can So They Don't Waste $$$

thanks for the video it is very helpful. I have a 2003 Honda CR-V that has a crack on the left back side of the reflector. I saw on the video that you took out the whole piece and replaced it with a new one. What is the new one called exactly so I can order it. thanks

Thanks for showing how to remove and re-install the light assembly but your "how-to" open up the inside panel to reach the wiring harness connector convinced me that it would be much easier & faster to keep the old harness in place and just disconnect the 4 original bulb holders from the lens and remove the new harness from the new lens and pop the original bulbs into the new lens and secure the harness in the retainer tabs. Of course if charging by the hour then your way would be preferable ;)
