How to Replace Tail Light in Mercedes-Benz C300 W205 and E300 W213 - in 5 Minutes
In this video I show how to change tail light in Mercedes Benz C-class. The procedure to change tail lights also applicable to other Mercedes-Benz vehicles E-class such as E300, etc. It is easy and quick way to replace taillights in Mercedes vehicle.

Quick and Easy step to Replace Tail Lights in Mercedes-Benz C-class C300 W205 and E-class E300 W213:
- Pull trim in trunk
- Remove 2 bottom Flange nuts (8mm)
- Disconnect trail light wires
- Remove top Flange nut (8mm)
- Remove Tail Light by pushing pins and pulling light
- Install new Tail Light
- Insert tail light pin first
- Reinstall 3 tail light nuts
- Reconnect wires
- Reinstall trim

Should be the same. Just dry with hair dryer and seal with glue - should be good

My taillight had 2 nuts and a plastic threaded tie-down. The nuts are easy as this video shows but the plastic thing will not come off. How to do that? Is this part one-time use?

Try to wiggle a bit that plastic pin. It should be reusable

My tail light unit has water in, like half an inch in the bottom! Is this common? Am I gonna need to buy a new tail light?

If you can find a hole and drain that water and leave it to dry under sun or use hair dryer (i know it's funny - but works) to dry it - you can seal that hole and save some $$. I did it on my older BMW and didn't have to replace taillight

@@NewRoad the hole seems to be an inch wide section at the top of the lens where it’s come away and unsealed itself from the body. I could drain it and then somehow dry but then how would I reseal the lens? 🤔

Yea, make sure you dry it properly before sealing. Hope it will work for you, good luck
