Thank you for making this tutorial. The tether broke on my gas cap years ago but was able to still not loose the cap until this past winter. Thought I'd have to drive around with that fuel cap missing warning notice until I found this video!

What isnthe inside diameter ofnthe ring?

0.39 inches is the product spec but that can’t be the diameter. Maybe the thickness of the ring itself.

I don’t have the car with me and can’t measure it now. Sorry. But the part I indicated does work exactly for the gas cap on the CR-V.
