Finally did my rear shocks on my 78 Cadillac Coupe. If you recall, I commented on your other video where you did the front shocks and I did them too. I finally bought a 3 ton floor jack and installed it today. Your top bolts come down and mine on my Caddy they go up wards 🤷‍♂️ I did place them like you did, threads down but then decided to put them how they were. 😎

Argggg! Why 11/32! I have multiple bit sets and the only 11/32 is a wood speed bit which won’t get through aluminum. So it’s off to the hardware store tomorrow. Great instructions though! Update: I picked up the 11/32 bit a my local Home Depot and drilled all 12 holes (I had an extra set of mounting adapters for all four legs), bolted in everything and tried it out on the side of my house. Works great! I've ordered another set so I can put two Leveloks on my Gorrila ladder at the same time. I'll put the extra mounting plates on my extension ladder. That's a little trickier as you have to glue on spacers, but I think I can handle it. This, in my opinion, is a must have ladder accessory. I can't count the number of times I've wedged pieces of wood under my ladders to level them. It's nice that it's removable as the ladder's already a bit heavy to lug around and having two of these permanently attached would add to that. (Tried to upload a pic but apparently KZfaq doesn't allow it.)

@LongologoProductions
@LongologoProductions Ай бұрын
@waynetcampbell: Where is the leak coming from? Slide the unit out and look under the side at the bottom tray with a flashlight and run a rinse cycle to see where water is leaking from to cause that styrofoam float to lift up and give you that E15. In my case I could clearly see water leaking from the inlet valve. Also the mounting of the inlet valve and the hose connection is tight and awkward if you have to push the unit back under a cabinet. Could it be that the connection from the hose to the water inlet valve was compromised?

Just completed this project today.. wanted to return and thank you for the video and provide tips for others that may tackle this job. 1. Use B6000 glue. Have toothpicks handy 2. Have a lot of small paper/binder clips handy. These were amazing, as they grip hard and are small. 20 or so would be good. 3. Have patience! Most replacement kits make you cut out the fabric... spend the time to do it right. 4. Mock it all up by clipping everything in place. Remove clips and glue as you go until it's done. 5. Have a power screw driver, but set to a LOW torque. 6. Plastic trim puller worked great to remove all plastic panels from the vehicle. This made removal simple and no broken clips! 7. Have a sharp razor blade to cut out material, but also remove old glue residue. 8. REMOVE old glue residue from the panel after removing old material. I used a small/ narrow steel bristle brush and razor blade. This process took much longer than anticipated.... this is crucial to ensure adhesion!!! Ain't nobody want to do this again! 9. More patience 10. For Tan interior, this kit matches perfectly: Hoypeyfiy 2pcs (1Pair) Microfiber Leather Front Door Panels Armrest Cover Replacement for Honda Cr-V CRV 2007-2012 (Leather Only) Beige Tan a.co/d/3gNPWiK 11. QUESTION HERE. ????? I have an 85 Caprice Classic like yours but it's white, no vinyl top,how do I remove the Caprice logo, it is on the lower part or the roof back by the passengers door on each side. Is it just held on with double-sided tape ?????
@LongologoProductions
@LongologoProductions Ай бұрын
Likely some strong double-sided automotive tape. Try working a long string of dental floss back and forth behind the logo to remove it. Then comes the fun part: removing the adhesive residue without damaging your paint. Maybe some goo-gone or other gentle adhesive remover that you can use by wiping with a paper towel?

Great video! I have an '84 Caprice with a 305. Yes, can you show a photo of the cover of your manual? I'm getting wisps of smoke from the rear of the engine, I'm thinking it's from the bad valve cover gasket. My thought is that there might be a wire or harness that might be causing the burning also at the rear of the engine.

I apologize, but I would advise you to redo it for better results. The mistakes made are clearly visible since you did not use a sanding machine, and that is where you should start. After sanding, make sure to clean everything thoroughly. Then, use a primer on the smooth surface before applying several coats of paint. This will result in a much more beautiful outcome. However, it is ultimately your decision, and this is just my advice.
