How to replace the LCD panel an HP Compaq CQ58 Laptop (Model CB16EA#ABU / CQ58-241SA).
Useful if you need to repair a cracked screen.
A compatible screen is B156XW02 H/W:0B F/W:1

Thank you for this video. Was able to take apart my laptop screen as my younger brother had damaged it. Replaced it with a screen panel from a G62 I found on the street last year near my home.

How would I know if there's another compatible lcd?

Maybe eBay for the model number of the laptop and see if it produces more than just the old model of screen. Often even if you search for the exact screen model number sellers offer compatible alternatives.

There are ips screen for the cq58? Because I have one but the tn panel is unwatchable
