Nice video. Looking at doing this to the wife's 2006 TSX. Changed the plugs the other week and there was oil in one of the plug holes.

Excellent video. Is there any concern about air getting into the power steering system by disconnecting that line?
@HowtoAutomotive
@HowtoAutomotive Жыл бұрын
You can pretty much bleed the air out of juice by idling, but if you have to, you can turn the wheel lock to lock with the engine off a few times then start it up and you should be good

I'm using this same fel pro kit and I'm following your video to a T. But I can't figure out if the valve tube seals are supposed to be pushed in all the way to the bottom lip? When i looked at my old ones the seals were flush with the edge of the hole. Is that due to swelling over time with the seals?

I did this on my tsx and forgot to apply silicone to the corners. Now it's leaking. Do I have to take off the gasket and apply or is there a way to seal it without taking it off?

Cyrah G it’s hard to say without seeing it. You will most likely need to pull cover back off and remove the broken bolt and order a new one.

You forgot to mention that you need silicon where the head rail meets the timing cover.

can you put the gasket/silicone around the entire valve cover?
@HowtoAutomotive
@HowtoAutomotive 4 жыл бұрын
Donnell Wright You don’t wanna do that. It causes more problems than it’s worth. Just in a sharp corners is where you’ll put the silicone
