Make sure you use a Mopar thermostat, aftermarket ones fail easily. Yes I know they are almost $300

Nice, straight to the point with tricks to avoid unnecessary disassembly. Going to tackle thermostat and drain and fill coolant this weekend. I love that it’s this easy on the 6.7.

Did you drain some coolant before you started?

Yes, I had already removed all of the coolant because I had done a flush on the coolant system before I removed the thermostat. Have a Blessed Day Friend! Justin

I would change mine about every 100,000. Can't remember what they recommend. No more than 150,000 miles.
