I have an SP 1200 and I'm getting like a strange decay fade sound from all pads I'm not sure what's wrong with it I tried loading the SP-1200 Sampling Percussion System Latino Ensemble Disk original disk and still I'm getting the strange fading decayed sound. I'm in North Texas not sure where you are located for shipping? When I lived in Los Angeles I used to go to Forat in Studio City North Hollywood area to fix my SP-1200 this is the original all grey one with big SP-1200 letters on the back side. Please let me know if you can fix it for me and what could be the issue?

Oh man. He made no mention about the importance of the capacitor POLARITY when installing. The Axial poly film capacitors used in the SP-12 and SP-1200 have a polarity orientation. See the band on one end of the film capacitor? That denotes the outer foil, this end is supposed to go to ground to provide shielding! It's not a job for an electronics novice. Only trust a trained and qualified electronics engineer / technician to perform repairs, modifications or upgrades to your SP! If you don't understand the schematic diagrams, and the importance of polarity, you have no business being under the hood of an SP!
