How to replace your MG / Rover key fob

4 жыл бұрынReplacing the wireless key fob on an MG TF, with a new one by taking the internals out of the old on and installing them onto the new one. This includes the replacement of the batter. Use a flat head screwdriver in the groove on the back of the key, and pushing to the outside, that enables you to take off the top so you can get to the rest.

Thanks for this. The TF doesn't have a boot release button which is why there is no electronical components for the third button.

Some specs of ZR don’t have a boot release button so it might not have fallen off. The rubber on the cover is still there (though not in your case!) but with no button behind. Not sure about the TF though.
